We are currently seeking high caliber Technicians on a contract to hire basis with our client's team of experienced professional. Based in Dallas, TX you will complete cable installation, including Strikes, Card readers, Mag Locks, Motion Detectors, etc, inside commercial buildings during the construction process. device terminations . As a level I technician, you should be familiar with all industry (EIA / TIA) standards and know how to identify, pull, label, dress, terminate (connect), and test Category 3, 5e, 6 and 6a communications cabling. You should know how to install support structures and terminate workstation outlets (110 and Panduit) and read blue prints as well. You will also need to have all basic hand tools, PPE and specialty tools.
Provide testing assistance as well as assistance on Service and inspections
Read blue prints, termination and testing of devices, provide service call and instruction to the end users
Lead a small to large sized crews on new installations
Provide full inspection / re-certifications on existing systems including customer interaction / training, etc.
Responsible for installing, terminating and testing access control, CCTV, intrusion systems and security systems inside commercial building

Requirements
6 months + installation experience
Capable of complete cable installation, device terminations including strikes, card readers, mag locks, motion detectors, etc.
Provide testing assistance as well as assistance on service and inspections
Must have reliable transportation
Must have a valid driver's license
Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check
Must be willing and able to drive anywhere in the local market to get to job sites
Willingness to travel is a big plus but not required
