Our client, a leading Canadian EPCM company, is currently recruiting for a Temporary Facilities Lead to work on a major project in Kitimat, BC. The ideal candidate, reporting directly to the Site Wide Services Manager, would be responsible for the development, management and implementation of the installation, maintenance, and removal of all site temporary facilities that include construction trailers and tents. The Temporary Facilities Lead will also be reviewing and approving safe work practices and ensuring that construction activities are in accordance with the IFC plans and specifications.
Qualifications:
- 15+ years of experience in coordinating field construction projects
- 5+ years of managing subcontractors in a supervisory role
- Diploma / certification in Civil Engineering / Journeyman Trade or any other relevant background
- Extensive knowledge of BC Building Codes, WorkSafe BC and Technical Safety BC requirements
- Large construction and engineering project experience
- Excellent computer skills with software such as Microsoft Office
