We currently seek a high caliber Program Coordinator for a long-term basis within our client’s team of experienced professionals. Based in Los Angeles, CA
Job Requirements:
Promote the curriculum sessions
Work with the Inclusivity Team members assigned to the various tracks to meet track objective
Monitor and analyze session attendance
Gather and analyze data obtained from surveys regarding program participants’ experience by compiling feedback and analyzing the results
Perform and support outreach efforts for all tracks and also assist with other outreach efforts as needed for Program Manager needs for certified firm inclusion, youth or workforce engagement
Produce data reports demonstrating the Institute’s progress, successes, and areas for improvement
Compile and analyze survey data, as needed
Partner with business groups, community based organization, constructor’s charitable organizations as identified in the contract, work with the Workforce team to assist with the quarterly Construction Career Network meetings and work with the Youth Coordinator to provide supportive services as needed to school districts, foster youth programs and also recently incarcerated individuals.
Assist the Skills Assessment Coordinator, as needed with approval from the Inclusivity Manager, with maintenance of workforce career pathway plan
Ensure contract commitments are met by managing consultant’s track deliverables are successfully met.
Qualifications:
AA required, BA preferred
Knowledge of construction support services
Ability to work on multiple tasks at a given time to meet contract requirements
Experience in working in construction with a minimum of 5 years’ administrative experience
Experience and understanding of the diverse needs in working with greater Los Angeles area and its community resources
5+ years of department or program coordination experience, ideally in construction or education, preferred, but not required
Experience in servicing a project over $500M with contract deliverables or administrative support
Experience in overseeing monthly reporting and contract deliverable tracking preferred
Proven experience managing subcontractors’ scopes of work to meet deadlines
Experience in working with a large group with multiple stakeholders a mutual goal
Familiar with construction inclusivity and working in a diverse community
Ability to not only make presentations to various community stakeholders, but also to develop presentations in MS PowerPoint
Ability to prepare reports in MSOffice
Ability to work in a team environment
Ability to assist the Inclusivity Manager with other duties as assigned
