Underground E&I Construction Coordinator

Here is an exciting opportunity to join a mega project in beautiful Kitimat, British Columbia as an Underground E&I Construction Coordinator! You would be at work within a growing EPCM/construction firm with projects worldwide and joining a team of talented professionals all working towards one goal. This opportunity boasts longevity, and a great work-life balance rotation of 14/7.

In this role, the selected candidate will be involved with providing technical assistance and engaging in quality verifications, materials management, work planning, in-progress testing verification, etc. They will further be responsible to manage the construction coordination between contractors, subcontractors, engineering, procurement, and clients.

Their daily responsibilities will include reviewing and understanding P6 schedules, understanding business codes and project specific codes, enforcing safety standards, developing construction work packages and field installation work packages, and working with 3D model viewers (Smart Plan Review and Smart Plant Construction).

Qualifications:
- Journeyman Electrical Trades
- 10+ years of industrial experience
- 5+ years of supervisor experience in electrical trades
- Strong working knowledge of electrical equipment codes, standards, principals and procedures
- CET preferred
