Project Controls Expo, 2014 – Emirates Stadium, London
Allen Taylor caught up with Chirag Shah, one of the Project Controls Team in TRS, to talk about the forth coming Project Controls Expo in London.
Chirag has been working in Project Controls for almost 10 years. He originally started his career in rail and infrastructure, moving on to work in the oil and gas, mining and renewable sectors for the last 4 years. He now leads the Project Controls recruitment function globally for TRS Staffing Solutions, delivering project controls specialists worldwide.
What is the Project Controls Expo, 2014?
This is the largest international project controls event featuring expert international speakers from companies such as Amec, Aecom and Aker. Directions to the venue and more can be found at http://projectcontrolsexpo.com/Venue.aspx.The event will be held on 18th November 2014, in London.
It is great opportunity to network, learn, obtain product updates from technology leaders, and explore current and future project controls jobs. It is a great way not only to source the latest global vacancies, but also to connect with top project controls talent and project controls recruitment agencies in this field.
Who should attend?
The Project Controls Expo is inclusive, designed for both companies looking to recruit project control specialists, and candidates interested in starting a career in Project Controls. It is likely to be of particular interest for the following project controls jobs:

- Project Controls Analyst
- Project Controls Consultant
- Planning engineer
- Cost engineer
What is there to see?
There are master class sessions, case studies, workshops, technical presentations and a project controls job fair (which include a Career Advice Zone and a Walk-in Interview Zone).
TRS Staffing Solutions will be taking part and has a stand where we will be more than happy to give career advice to candidates and client advice on how to find the best project controls candidates.
What are the opportunities you’d highlight for delegates?
Key companies to look out for are Aecom, Driver and Rhead Group, and key people on my list would be Chris Bell, David Bordoli and Ken Phillips to name a few. I shall also be attending.
