Corrosion Engineer

Here is an exciting opportunity for a Corrosion Engineer with our global leading Oil and Gas client in Saudi Arabia! The main responsibility is to incorporate new technology to increase company profitability and productivity. Leading the team, the Corrosion Engineer will develop full spectrum engineering standards for the Plant within the corrosion engineering field. This role will also involve working with design contractors to go over spec sheets and help EPC contract design reviews.

Job Duties:

• Involvement in FEED consultations
• Offer knowledge and assistance to the group, vendors, manufacturers, and design firms on corrosion engineering matters
• Originate and conduct engineering studies to find possible issues and fixes to existing issues, and resolve complex technical problems
• Develop and oversee corrosion monitoring programs and corrosion monitoring devices (coupons/probes)
• Review and update Risk – Based Inspection (RBI) programs

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required; a Master’s degree or a PH.D in corrosion engineering is highly desirable as well
• Eng preferred; NACE and API certifications
• 15+ years of professional experience in the field of corrosion engineering
• Experience working with unconventional resources would be an advantage
• Industry recognition through professional organizations like ASME, ASCE, ASTM, API and SEI
