TRS Staffing Solutions has an exciting opportunity for a Cost Control Lead role to work for one of Canada's top employers and a global leader in the Engineering, Procurement, Construction Management industry.

Responsibilities:
 

• Guide and mentor the cost control team.
• Perform cost risk assessments and provide updates to management.
• Develop and oversee cost estimates and budget allocations.
• Track and report cost deviations, suggesting corrective actions.
• Spearhead cost control initiatives for project proposals.
• Set up and maintain cost baselines, ensuring consistent monitoring and updates.
• Administer the cost change management process.
• Formulate and execute a cost management plan within the Project Execution Plan.
• Ensure adherence to cost-related contractual obligations.
• Perform additional tasks as required.

Qualifications:
 

• Possession of a bachelor's degree, along with 15 years of professional experience.
• Minimum 5 years in a leadership position.
• Experience in the mining industry is a must.
• Essential technical expertise is required to perform the role effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently within time constraints.
• Proficiency in conveying information clearly to various groups including management, clients, coworkers, visitors, vendors or contractors.
• Capability to understand and implement knowledge of relevant local, regional, and national laws and regulations.
