TRS Staffing Solutions has exciting opportunities for an Intermediate Planner role to work for one of Canada's top employers and a global leader in the Engineering, Procurement, Construction Management industry. 

Responsibilities:
 
  • Participate in schedule optimization exercises and scenario planning.
  • Support the preparation of reports and presentations for internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with project teams to gather input and ensure alignment on timelines and deliverables.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the planning function.
  • Conduct schedule reviews and identify potential delays or risks, recommending mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor progress and update schedules to reflect actual performance and forecast future activities.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of integrated project schedules across engineering, procurement, and construction phases.
  • Support additional project-related tasks as needed.

Qualifications
 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • 5–8 years of relevant experience in project planning, preferably within mining, infrastructure, or heavy industrial sectors.
  • Proficiency in scheduling software such as Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Exposure to automated scheduling tools and reporting systems.
  • Ability to interpret complex project data and translate it into actionable insights.
  • Familiarity with EPC project environments is an asset.
