TRS Staffing Solutions has exciting opportunities for a Material Planner role to work for one of Canada's top employers and a global leader in the Engineering, Procurement, Construction Management industry. 

Responsibilities:
 

• Configure and prepare material planning systems ahead of project material needs.
• Collaborate with project teams to define execution roles and responsibilities.
• Develop and implement material planning strategies aligned with project goals.
• Integrate work breakdown structures and construction packages into planning tools.
• Validate material assignments and support requisition processes.
• Simulate and review material allocation scenarios to optimize availability.
• Provide reporting and solutions for potential material shortages.
• Coordinate surplus material management across teams.
• Support additional project-related tasks as needed.

Qualifications
 

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 12 years’ experience in material planning or related roles.
• Strong understanding of material management processes in large-scale industrial or infrastructure projects. 
• Familiarity with regulatory and compliance standards related to material handling and procurement.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively with internal and external teams.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
• Professional certifications in supply chain, logistics, or project management are preferred.
• Experience in mining, metals, or heavy industrial sectors.
• Advanced proficiency in planning software and data analysis tools.
