Responsibilities:
- Lead the creation and execution of active transportation and mobility master plans.
- Stay informed on national and regional transportation trends, policies, and innovations.
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to talent development within the team.
- Identify new business opportunities and support proposal development.
- Provide technical oversight on the design of cycling infrastructure, protected intersections, and complete streets.
- Cultivate strong relationships with municipal and private sector clients.
- Manage project teams, budgets, and timelines to deliver high-quality outcomes.
- Direct stakeholder and public engagement programs to ensure inclusive and transparent planning.
- Perform additional tasks as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Professional designation (e.g., RPP, P.Eng., or equivalent).
- Minimum 15 years of experience in transportation planning or engineering.
- Proven leadership in delivering sustainable transportation projects.
- Strong project management and client engagement skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Demonstrated success in managing multidisciplinary teams and complex projects.
- Experience with municipal mobility programs and infrastructure design.
- Familiarity with micromobility systems.
- Understanding of regional transportation policies.
