This role supports equipment reliability and supports day-to-day operations through both the shop and field environments.
You will be performing maintenance and repairs on a wide range of construction and heavy equipment, including diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and supporting equipment movement and general shop and yard activities as required.
Must be willing to travel through-out Alberta, and other site locations in Saskatchewan and BC.

Overview
This role supports equipment reliability and supports day-to-day operations through both the shop and field environments.
You will be performing maintenance and repairs on a wide range of construction and heavy equipment, including diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and supporting equipment movement and general shop and yard activities as required.
Must be willing to travel through-out Alberta, and other site locations in Saskatchewan and BC.
Responsibilities
- Adhere to and support Client’s Health, Safety & Environmental and Sustainability Policies.
- Diagnose construction and various equipment repair needs.
- Perform mechanical skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting.
- Perform preventative and service maintenance on trucks and equipment.
- Provide major (service repairs to customers and company-owned equipment either in the Branch or field location.
- Safely load and unload equipment for transporting.
- Complete necessary paperwork, including work orders, parts orders and billings, and warranty information.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Assist other technicians in troubleshooting and problem resolution.
- Perform duties in varying work environments.
- Communicate with customers concerning repair and service needs; this communication is frequent and critical.
- Maintain compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, and global standards.
- Plan, organize, and carry out assignments as directed.
- Meet expectations on attendance and punctuality.
- Other duties may be assigned as required.
Qualifications
- Red Seal Required
- Valid driver’s license with a recent drivers abstract. (3-5 years)
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment requiring strong organizational skills and multitasking.
- Maintain accurate, detailed records of diagnostics, repairs, and parts usage.
- Provide mentorship to apprentices and collaborate with team members.
- Ability to perform physical demanding work, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Work performed in both indoor and outdoor environments.
