TRS Staffing Solutions has exciting opportunities for a Structural Design Supervisor role to work for one of Canada's top employers and a global leader in the Engineering, Procurement, Construction Management industry.

Responsibilities:
 

• Verifying the work of other designers as needed.
• Collaborating with the Lead Engineer and cross-functional teams.
• Conducting bulk material take-off assessments and compiling tabulations.
• Monitoring project timelines to ensure timely delivery of outputs.
• Examining drawings and vendor documentation to ensure they meet project specifications and proactively resolving any discrepancies.
• Overseeing, delegating tasks, and providing direction to project designers.
• Complying with industry standards, codes, and departmental procedures.
• Perform additional tasks as required.

Qualifications:
 

• A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field and 20 years of experience.
• Minimum of five years of experience in S3D modeling and other CADD software.
• Proven ability to oversee team performance and assign tasks to meet project milestones.
• Understanding of material costs and availability.
• Detail-oriented with effective time management skills.
• Knowledge and experience in structural design principles.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with management, colleagues, clients, and contractors.
• Proficiency in using presentation software and spreadsheets.
