Structural Engineer – Edmonton, AB
TRS is working with an Alberta-based multidisciplinary engineering company who are experts in modular equipment design, fabrication-ready engineering, and full lifecycle project execution. This is a full-time position and based in Edmonton, Alberta.
Key Details
Deliver structural design and analysis for:
Modular equipment
Industrial facilities
Pressure equipment modifications
Related infrastructure
Work collaboratively with multiple engineering disciplines to ensure integrated project execution
Develop structural design concepts, calculations, and engineered solutions for modular systems and industrial equipment
Produce structural components, layouts, and fabrication‑ready drawings as part of detailed engineering packages
Ensure all structural designs comply with applicable codes, industry standards, and regulatory requirements
Maintain alignment between structural, mechanical, civil, and process engineering requirements
Experience or familiarity with vessels and process piping
Opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer with experience in Structural Engineering Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or Mechanical with related experience
Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation in Canada, or eligibility to obtain
4–10 years of structural engineering experience within industrial, modular, or energy‑sector environments. Open to more senior candidates
Proficiency with structural analysis software (e.g., STAAD.Pro, RISA, SFRAME) and CAD tools
