TRS Staffing Solutions has exciting opportunities for Estimators to work for one of Canada's top employers and a global leader in the Engineering, Procurement, Construction Management industry.

This is a short-term contract role that will start with a 3-months term. 

Responsibilities:
 

• Manage individual work priorities while contributing to team objectives.
• Support the preparation of both engineering office and field-based construction estimates.
• Create and maintain estimate schedules.
• Ensure traceability and transparency of estimate data, reconciling with source documentation.
• Understand and apply Work Breakdown Structures to organize and structure estimates effectively.
• Collaborate with project teams to develop comprehensive cost estimates aligned with project scope and timelines.
• Perform additional tasks as required.

Qualifications
 

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in cost estimating, with a focus on mechanical and piping systems/civil, structural, architectural projects
• Previous construction experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with regulatory and industry standards applicable to industrial projects.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Experience with process facilities in the mining sector is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong understanding of estimating methodologies and project controls.
