Here is an exciting opportunity to join our client in Calgary, AB as a Packaged Equipment Engineer! You would be at work within a growing EPCM/construction firm with projects worldwide and joining a team of talented professionals all working towards one goal.

We are looking for Engineers to support a project into the detailed engineering phase. Engineers would be expected to manage the specification and procurement of large process equipment packages that include combinations of rotating equipment, pressure vessels, piping etc. 

Job Duties:
  • Prepare technical bid evaluations for equipment and packages
  • Review supplier drawings and data during detail design phase after PO award
  • Act as a technical focal point for assigned equipment packages, coordinating with, and supporting other design disciplines and clients in review of supplier data during detail design
  • Participate in P&ID reviews, HAZOP reviews and 3D model reviews for assigned equipment packages
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering
  • 7+ years of experience in selection and design of equipment and design systems in the oil and gas, chemical processing, or related energy industries
  • Registered P. Eng
  • Prior experience with packaged equipment working in the EPC industry, working for equipment suppliers, with EPC contractors, or with end-user facility owners
