Here is an exciting opportunity to join a mega project in Kitimat, British Columbia as a Pre-Commissioning Piping Coordinator! Reporting to the Pre-commissioning Lead and working in conjunction with the Site Construction Piping Supervisors and Commissioning Supervisors, the Pre-commissioning Piping Coordinator is accountable for the planning and oversight of all Piping pre-commissioning activities for the facility.

Key Job Duties:
• Evaluate pre-commissioning deliverables at module/assembly yards (inspection, quality checks, etc.)
• Define Site Piping pre-commissioning scope.
• Develop detailed plans, procedures and instructions and manage the process through to implementation.
• Interface with the Turnover and completions team to provide direction on correct work assignments in the Completion System
• Coordination of Pre-commissioning contractors, Specialty Cleaning Contractor and Vendor Representatives.
• Ensure all pre-commissioning ITRs are properly completed in a timely manner and promptly returned to the Turnover team.

Key Requirements:
• 15+ years of proven leadership experience in pre-commissioning/commissioning of large process facilities
• Engineering Tech, or appropriate trades certificate a must
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in high-stress and challenging environments.
• Team player – ability to influence without authority and support the success of a team.
• Strong computer and software skills.
