TRS Staffing is currently having conversations with Mining Engineers as one of our clients is looking for a Principal Mining Engineer. Our client is an Intermediate producer with headquarters in Toronto with assets based in Latin America. This is a permanent/full-time position.

Key Details

• Seeking miners who are well experienced in Underground mining (some knowledge in Open Pit is a strong asset)
• Experienced with Strategic Mine Planning
• Annual mine budgeting and reporting
• Reserve Estimation
• Experience in Mine Operations is a strong asset (eg. ventilation, electrical, survey, ground control….)
• You have demonstrated solid career progression within operations or technical positions
• Experience dealing with consulting companies and equipment manufacturers
• Experience with mine planning software
• Experience with mine studies, feasibility studies, and trade-offs
• Degree in Mine Engineering
• Minimum of 15 years of experience
• P.Eng and QP are strong assets
• Spanish language skills are another asset
