We have an exciting contract opportunity for a Project Information Specialist to join our global EPC client.
In this role, you will be liaising between project personnel and IT groups to deliver appropriate IT Infrastructure, equipment and services to projects.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborating with PIM and gain understanding of the Automation plan.
  • Reviewing project requirements and business drivers.
  • Working with IT groups to Identify options available to meet the business need.
  • Clarifying/researching cost estimate options, schedule estimate options.
  • Identifying risks, supplying option recommendation.
  • Defining project scope and deliverables, detailing all costs (One time and Ongoing), defining target overall schedule, obtaining project approvals.
  • Scheduling delivery of equipment/services defining in work agreement.
  • Identifying tasks and milestones, identifying resources, developing detailed project plan, publishing project plan.
  • Delivering of project plan and scope, ensuring change control.
  • Liaising with IT administration and Procurement
  • Summarizing deliverables; Highlight variances – scope/cost/schedule.
  • Completing as built documentation; reviewing with PIM (Obtaining sign off)
  • Transitioning to steady state support.
  • Resolving IT Service Delivery issues (Not for steady state support).
  • QA of IT billing to project to ensure accurate billing of equipment and services.
  • Maintaining technical expertise and awareness of emerging technologies
  • Managing incident reporting to Project Management and PIM
  • New Project bid proposal input; New project automation plan input (If requested by PIM
Requirements:
  • At least a 2-year post-secondary diploma or equivalent 5-year IT related experience
  • Project Management: Prince 2, PMP
  • Technical: Microsoft, Cisco, Aruba
  • 2-5 years relevant IT experience
