This role will manage the major General Contractor contracts and oversees the Water Program Projects.

SENIOR CONTRACTS SPECIALIST (Contract Term) - Vancouver or Calgary based opportunity.

Qualifications:
-A graduate degree in a related field; desirable qualifications include a post-graduate degree such as an MBA. 
-Candidates should possess a minimum of 10 years of experience in leadership roles in project contracting for major mining or oil and gas plant projects, encompassing both brownfields and greenfields. 
-They should demonstrate experienced knowledge and skills in project contracting within the resources industry, along with an advanced understanding of the unique requirements for the Contracts Management role within an Owner’s team. 
-Must have advanced skills and knowledge of overall project implementation management processes, including project life-cycles, procedures, roles, and responsibilities. 
-Should exhibit excellence in risk and opportunity identification, strategic and tactical planning and management. 
-A deep understanding of various contract types, models, strategies, and their applicability, risks, and benefits is essential, along with a strong ability to argue, defend, apply, and rely on legal and commercial terms and conditions during negotiations. 
-Candidates must also demonstrate the ability to scope, build, and lead high-performing teams.
