TRS Staffing Solutions has exciting opportunities for a Senior Electrical Engineer role to work for one of Canada's top employers and a global leader in the Engineering, Procurement, Construction Management industry.

Job Description:
 

• Develop and assess project labor and material estimates.
• Create electrical equipment specifications and conduct technical bid evaluations for various equipment types.
• Conduct and verify calculations, including short circuit and voltage drop analyses for electrical distribution systems.
• Review vendor drawings and address related issues.
• Offer engineering support during construction phases.
• Manage schedules, estimates, and manpower forecasts.
• Understand electrical design considerations and interdisciplinary interfaces crucial for complex mineral processing facility designs.
• Prioritize HSE, technical assurance, and safety in design.
• Communicate technical solutions effectively to diverse audiences.

Job Requirements:
 

• Hold a professional engineer registration in Canada.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• At least 10 years of experience in an EPC or EPCM setting.
• Preferably have experience in mineral processing; other heavy industrial experience may be considered.
• Ideally have experience with power systems up to high voltage and familiarity with ETAP software.
• Knowledgeable about electrical codes and regulations.
• Demonstrate supervisory experience.
• Proficient in English with strong written and oral communication abilities.
