Job duties:
- Project Management: Lead and coordinate teams during design and construction document preparation, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and on time.
- Technical Expertise: Apply in-depth knowledge of building technology, including wood frame, steel, and concrete construction, and ensure compliance with BC Building Code and ASHRAE 90.1.
- Design and Documentation: Demonstrate strong design sensibilities and produce pragmatic, efficient working drawings using advanced skills in AutoCAD, Revit, and Sketchup.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Effectively communicate and collaborate with engineers, clients, designers, and contractors to ensure project alignment and success.
- Field Services and Problem Solving: Provide construction services, conduct field reviews, and address challenges with flexibility and resourcefulness.

Requirements:
- Must have experience in wood-frame building projects.
- At least 5-10 years of Canadian Architectural Industry experience (BC experience preferred).
- 5 years of project management experience in related industries.
- Graduate of a certified Building Technology or Architectural program.
- In-depth knowledge of BC Building Code (Part 3 & 9), ASHRAE 90.1, and sustainable design.
- Familiarity with municipal approval processes.
- Advanced AutoCAD skills, with working knowledge of Revit and Sketchup.
- Effective coordination with stakeholders; excellent English communication.
- Proven ability to run projects independently and meet tight deadlines.
- Problem-solving skills and motivation to drive projects forward.
