Role Purpose
Reporting to the Project Controls Manager, the scheduler will monitor and analyze design, construction, commissioning and qualification progress through the integrated schedule developed with the engineering and construction partners.
The Scheduler will be responsible for the development, and integration of the detailed operational activities into the overall schedule to support the efficient start-up of the facility.
Role Description
Key Responsibilities
• Coordinate with the Engineering, Construction and CQV project schedulers to ensure an accurately monitored integrated schedule
• Develop, maintain and integrate to the schedule the operational activities required to support efficient start-up of the facility
• Develop and maintain the overall integrated project schedule incorporating all schedule inputs from the various functions represented in the project including contractors and 3rd parties.
• Regularly monitor progress against the project schedule and report any discrepancies to the Project Team
• Facilitate interactive planning for integrated schedule development
• Ensure that all activities are undertaken on time to allow the smooth progression throughout the Project from Initiation to Hand-over.
• Manage the scheduling requirement of the project where it interfaces with on- going site Operations where appropriate.
• Develop schedules as required by the Project Manager at the various phases of the Project life cycle.
• Carry out schedule analysis to identify critical path and optimisation of same
• Manage and report impact of change on the project schedule
• Participate in independent schedule reviews and incorporate findings
• Participate in the risk management and analysis exercise and assess schedule impact of identified risks
• Incorporate resource data into schedules as required
• Work to ensure that resource scheduling is undertaken to make best use of available resources.
• Ensure that all information as required is obtained at the appropriate times within the Project life cycle.
• Liaise with other Project Team members and external contracting bodies as necessary to ensure the smooth flow of relevant information required for scheduling purposes.
Requirements
A minimum of 5 years in project scheduling Proficiency in MS Project and Primavera Project tools
Experience managing multiple projects and pulling together multiple schedules into a master schedule and/or interfacing with other teams managing different schedules.
Knowledge in GMP and Pharmaceutical industry Fluency in Spanish and English
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Detail-oriented, organized and self-driven
Demonstrated skill in identifying, analysing and solving problems.
