TRS Staffing Solutions has exciting opportunities for a Civil Design Supervisor role to work for one of Canada's top employers and a global leader in the Engineering, Procurement, Construction Management industry.

Responsibilities:
 
•    Manage the creation of detailed 2D CAD drawings for various project components.
•    Track and forecast material quantities and project needs.
•    Validate designs against project requirements and specifications.
•    Plan and oversee project schedules, staffing, and progress reporting.
•    Guide and support the design team in developing 3D models for civil projects using advanced software tools.
•    Ensure compliance with quality standards through rigorous review processes.
•    Formulate cost-effective strategies for civil design project execution.
•    Perform additional tasks as required.

Qualifications:
 
•    Minimum two-year degree or equivalent in a relevant field, with a minimum of 15 years of related experience.
•    Proficiency in civil design for earthwork, infrastructure, storm drainage, underground utilities, and water systems.
•    Technical knowledge in CAD drafting and modeling.
•    Practical field experience.
•    Knowledge of material availability and cost considerations.
•    Ability to learn and apply new knowledge effectively.
•    Strong communication skills for interacting with various stakeholders.
•    Intermediate skills in word processing, email, spreadsheets, and presentation software.
•    Attention to detail and effective time management skills.
•    Ability to understand and apply local, provincial, and federal regulations.
