TRS has an exciting opportunity for a Contracts Leader to join our client’s team, a Canada-based oil and gas firm.

Responsibilities:

Oversee the administration, compliance, negotiation, and execution of contractual obligations between the client and their EPC
Defend the company’s contractual rights and ensure alignment with legal and commercial frameworks throughout the execution phase
Lead the development and implementation of contracting strategies, standards, and systems for a major energy infrastructure project
Participate in internal and external commercial meetings with senior stakeholders, including the EPC and subcontractors
Collaborate closely with internal and external legal counsel to ensure accurate interpretation and administration of contracts

Qualifications:

15+ years of experience in contract management within EPC environments, preferably in the energy or industrial sectors
Strong background in lump sum, unit rate, and reimbursable contract structures
At least 5 years in a leadership or supervisory role within a client-side EPC organization
Proven experience in contract negotiation, change management, and claims resolution
Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
