Here is an exciting opportunity to join an upcoming Canadian LNG project as an Environmental Coordinator in beautiful Vancouver, BC! The successful candidate will be joining a fantastic team of talented professionals in a position that boasts longevity, and good-natured work.
In this role, the qualified candidate will be reporting into the Senior Regulatory Manager, supporting the development and execution of the project post-Environmental Assessment and throughout the construction phase. This individual would also be supporting, developing and tracking applications for municipal, provincial and federal permits, licenses and authorizations.
Job Duties:
• Manages various environmental tasks associated with the project
• Works with environmental consultants conducting studies and field work
• Assists with drafting internal and external letters and reports to ensure all notification and reporting requirements are met
• Assists in preparing for, participating in and developing records for meetings with, and presentations to internal and external stakeholders
• Assists the Company’s activities towards its sustainability goals
Qualifications:
• University Degree in an environmental discipline (e.g. environmental science, environmental engineering, biology, ecology, resource management or related program)
• 3+ years of experience in an environmental or consulting role and participating in regulatory approval processes in BC
• A valid BC driver’s license and passport
• Experience participating in environmental assessment or environmental management processes for large natural resource or infrastructure projects in BC
• Experience in construction environmental management
