Our client is looking for a Refinery Operations Manager to join their team in Kitchener, ON. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in plant operations in a petrochemical environment and strong management experience.
Responsibilities:
The selected candidate will be responsible for evaluating plant performance, recommending improvements and overseeing chemical and process operations while ensuring health and safety practices are followed diligently. The candidate will also be responsible for budgetary planning and be the point of contact between various parties such as shipping/receiving and maintenance.
Qualifications:
Completed post-secondary degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or other related
10+ years of experience in plant operations
5 years of experience of managing in a petrochemical environment
Strong technical and leadership skills
Outstanding communication skills both verbal and written
