Overview
Here is an exciting opportunity to join our client on site in Fort Saskatchewan, AB as a RFI Coordinator! You would be at work within a growing EPCM/construction firm with projects worldwide and joining a team of talented professionals all working towards one goal.
Responsibilities
- Play an active role in the development of the safety culture on the project, making safety a natural part of all work performed.
- Adhere to and support Client's Health, Safety & Environmental and Sustainability Policies.
- Coordinate IDR (Inter disciplinary releases) between different contractors.
- Receive IDR’s from releasing Contractors and get approval from appropriate Technical and Construction personnel and distribute to recipient Contractor.
- Assign RFI’s to Responders, Consolidate RFI’s and send respond back to the Contractors.
- Coordinate with Engineering office for changes which require change to design intent and ensure the RFI are properly sealed and archived in Coreworx.
- Coordinate with PDDM in home office to distribute project design documents.
- Coordinate receiving of red line drawings from Contractors and get approval from discipline Engineers and coordinate with Contractors to ensure same are loaded in Coreworx.
- Make sketches in CADD for Construction / Technical Services.
Qualifications
- Two to twelve (2-12) years of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience. Experience in Field with trade background preferred.
- Proficiency in CADD required.
- Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors.
- Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job.
- Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner.
