Location: relocate to Saudi Arabia

Summary:
The safety team Western Region Departments (WRDD) is responsible to work with operating organizations to provide field safety support to ensure safety is properly managed in all operational activities, provides advice and consultation to organization staff to assist them in maintaining a safe working environment in compliance with safety regulations, standards and practices.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily field compliance audits and inspections of all safety systems and safety fillings.
- Provide advice and consultation to Operation Division staff to assist them in maintaining a safe working environment in compliance with safety regulations, standards, and practices.
- Participate in QSIs and Management Walkthroughs with focus on SMS Element 6 field implementation and documentations.
- Participate in division HAZOP/PHA studies as requested.
- Participate in division Risk registers studies as required.
- Support Operations and T&I Engineer in reviewing documentations and procedures related to T&Is.
- Report any compliance deviation to the responsible unit head and MOC coordinator and follow up on the implementation.
- Ensure the Operations are following the portable gas testing process.
- Support the operations in the system/equipment isolation plan.
- Provide advice and consultation to department staff to assist them in maintaining a safe working environment in compliance with safety regulations, standards, and practices.
- Ensure all working locations are in compliance with HAZCOM/CHB programs.
- Ensure implementation and compliance with Rigging and Heavy Equipment Lifting Program requirements at the field.
- Ensure the implementation of periodic inspection of Rigging and Heavy Equipment Lifting equipment.
- Provide consultation on developing and reviewing the SIMOPS Plan for the division.
- Ensure all injuries within division related to contractors are reported.
- Participate in incident investigations and ensure generating the required documentations.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Safety Engineering or a related field.
- Five years of experience in safety related to the oil and gas industry.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and standards.
- Ability to identify and assess hazards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
