Responsibilities:
- Communicate with the Quality Manager regarding contract changes, design revisions, RFIs, RFQs, etc.
- Assist in creating the project turnover package, including drawings, plans, submittals, document logs, and purchase orders.
- Provide additional technical office support as required, and ensure deficiencies are corrected promptly.
- Adhere to policies, standards, and procedures during the turnover process.
- Collaborate with the Quality team to manage project files and documents and oversee the electronic document database.
- Proficient in Isometrics, P&ID’s, and Fabrication spool sheets.
- Maintain accurate and current documents for the project turnover package.
- Responsible for compiling and preparing turnover documentation for clients and third-party vendors.
- Participate in meetings with the Quality Control team and assist in providing the final document turnover to the client upon project completion.
- Ensure all turnover documentation, including maintenance manuals and procedures, is compiled and up to date.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in supporting major projects
- Client-focused with the ability to establish and maintain effective client relationships.
- Proficient in interpreting contract specifications, drawings, and other construction documents.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize daily tasks effectively.
- Team player with the ability to work effectively in a group setting.
- Advanced computer skills, with proficiency in MS Office and SharePoint.
- Self-driven with a strong desire to learn, face challenges, and thrive in high-pressure environments.
- Proven track record of seeing major projects through from inception to completion.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, along with a working knowledge of quality control documents and drawings.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle increasing project demands.
