We’re seeking a skilled and motivated Applications Engineer to a dynamic engineering team within a leading energy services provider. As an applications engineer, you willoffer engineering expertise and guidance to cross-functional teams including project management, drafting, and manufacturing throughout the execution phase.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Sales and Regional Account Managers to ensure client requirements and RFP specifications are fully understood and met.
Coordinate with Mechanical, Electrical & Instrumentation, and Process Engineering teams to develop proposal designs.
Prepare detailed cost estimates and formal quotations for Alco product offerings.
Source and evaluate vendor quotations for required equipment, assessing both technical and commercial aspects.
Provide technical guidance to internal teams such as project management, drafting, and production throughout project execution.
Promote continuous improvement by sharing feedback and lessons learned from international proposals.
Recommend process enhancements to improve efficiency and add value across all stakeholder groups.
Develop and initiate piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs).
Lead proposal handoff meetings post-award to communicate package requirements across departments.
Create preliminary general arrangement drawings to support proposal development.
Ensure proposals are accurate, complete, and submitted on time.
Analyze and interpret project specifications to ensure compliance.
Guarantee all technical and commercial deliverables are included in the final proposal package.
