Here is an exciting opportunity to join an environmental, engineering and surveying consultant in Northern, BC as an Environmental Professional! In this role, the qualified candidate will be an environmental generalist with strengths in contaminated sites investigation and remediation. Some duties include completing all stages of environmental site assessments, participate in the planning of other environmental field projects, and work with contractors during the construction and implantation of remediation activities

Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate subcontracting specialties as required (drillers, utility locators, TDG contractors)
- Provide environmental advice and solutions to guide design and assist with planning
- Mentor junior staff members of the environmental team
- Prepare and adhere to site-specific health and safety plans
- Complete all stages of environmental site assessments including proposal preparation, field planning, data interpretation, report review, and remediation recommendations

Qualifications:
- 5+ years of similar experience
- University degree in Biology, Environmental Engineering or other applicable post-secondary education
- Registration in good standing as a professional engineer or geologist, biologist, or applicable professional designation in BC
- Demonstrated experience including proposal preparation, environmental site assessments and environmental monitoring, permitting and reporting
- Ability to work independently and supervise other junior members of an integrated consulting team
