In this role, the qualified candidate will be playing a key role as leader of a skilled geotechnical team. Some duties include delivering integrated practical geotechnical engineering solutions to a variety of clients, developing strategic plans, and enhancing client base.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and conduct field programs for geotechnical investigations and studies, and complete with interpretation and documentation of results
- Project manage delivery of geotechnical assessments and designs on a variety of transportation, municipal and resource related projects in diverse terrain and geological conditions
- Prepare fee estimates and proposals for geotechnical projects, provide review of geotechnical reports
- Participate in client management and business development opportunities that complement our Northern BC business model
- Supervise field reviews and maintain suitable documentation for projects requiring geotechnical sign off in accordance with professional best practices

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Geotechnical/Geological Engineering
- 10+ years of related experience
- Registered as a P. Eng in BC, or eligible for registration
- Technical expertise and thorough knowledge of engineering principles and theories
- Ability to prepare engineering reports and designs
