Our client, a leading Railroad Construction firm with projects across Canada, is seeking a HSE Advisor to join their team in GTA.

This is a great opportunity to join a fast growing firm who values work/balance and make meaningful contributions to exciting projects across GTA.

Responsibilities:
  • Offer expert advice and consultation to bolster safety performance and drive continuous improvement aligned with corporate objectives.
  • Conduct thorough investigations, analyze safety metrics, and provide timely documentation to support decision-making.
  • Manage injury claims and regulatory reporting, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Facilitate safety-related training and assist in developing site-specific safety plans as needed.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to design strategic initiatives and enhance client interactions.
  • Evaluate field safety conditions, recommend operational improvements, and actively reduce organizational risks.
  • Maintain accurate records, prepare compliance reports, and support audits and inspections.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance safety systems, mitigate hazards, and foster a culture of safety among employees and contractors.

Requirements:
  • Degree, diploma, or certification in HSE, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in similar roles
  • Essential experience in rail and construction industries. 
  • Experience in injury management and field safety auditing.
  • Willingness to travel, mainly within Canada.
