Our client is looking for an Intermediate Project/Study Manager to support a large water management system initiative involving ponds, pumps, piping, and related E&I infrastructure. The role centers on guiding Feasibility Study engineering, developing Class 3 CAPEX and schedules, coordinating external consultants, and helping move the project into execution. This position suits someone who thrives in evolving environments and is comfortable balancing technical coordination with regular client interaction.

What You’ll Do:
  • Oversee FS-level engineering activities and direct engineering consultants to ensure quality deliverables.
  • Build and refine CAPEX estimates, project schedules, and scope packages.
  • Prepare documentation and presentations for internal stage-gate reviews.
  • Support execution planning and remain engaged through early execution phases.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for internal teams, consultants, and site stakeholders.
  • Provide guidance to a Project Engineer while operating independently within a growing project team.

What We’re Looking For:
  • Approximately 7+ years of experience in project or study management within mining, oil & gas, water infrastructure, or similar sectors.
  • Demonstrated experience managing engineering consultants and leading technical deliverables.
  • Strong grasp of FS processes, project controls, and CAPEX development.
  • Excellent communication, organizational capabilities, and client‑facing confidence.
  • Proficiency with Primavera P6, MS Office, and Google Workspace.
  • Able to work in office in Vancouver two days per week, with increased on-site presence required during execution.

Preferred Background
  • Experience working with owner’s teams or EPC/EPCM organizations.
  • Exposure to construction or commissioning activities.
  • Professional credentials (P.Eng, PMP) considered an asset but not necessary.
Additional Information
  • Contract runs through Q3 2026, with strong potential for extension into execution.
  • Remote applicants may be considered if based in BC or Alberta.
  • Estimated compensation: ~$90–$120+ per hour.
