Here is an exciting opportunity to join a mega project in Kitimat, British Columbia as an Insulation, Refractory and Cladding Construction Coordinator! Reporting directly to the Construction Manager, the successful candidate will be assigned to the construction team in support of installation of Insulation, refractory, and fireproofing. In this role you will provide technical support to supervision, as well as helping to satisfy the quality requirements on the project.

Key Job Duties:

• Provide technical support to craft and supervision, as well as help satisfy the Quality requirements on the project
• Ensure that progress is accurately reported and verified, and minimize or eliminate any obstruction to the efficient working of the project
• Be the first point of contact for technical issues and interfaces that arise in the field
• Coordinate and monitor the activities of assigned contractors performing work within the Construction disciplines and ensure compliance with project safety, quality, schedule, cost, and security requirements
• Evaluate change requests and interface with the contract administrator for the initiation and development of contract modifications

Key Requirements:

• Engineering Degree, Refractory & Cladding Specialist or equivalent technical project experience
• 5-10 years of experience in Construction Supervision
• 10+ years of progressive Construction experience
• Experience working with ceramic fiber, refractory cement, and refractory brick
• Experience working with Thermal, Acoustic and Cryogenic
