Here is an exciting opportunity to join a mega project in Kitimat, British Columbia as a Material Coordinator! In this role, you will be coordinating with vendors and subcontractors across the project to control materials used in the commissioning of various systems in accordance with the commissioning schedule.

Key Job Duties:

• Prepare field material requisitions and tracking receipt of all commissioning materials as required.
• Participate in schedule review meetings and be proactive in material requests.
• Maintain a master layout plan to highlight where all materials are stored.
• Maintain a master inventory of commissioning materials and consumables and publish to management on a weekly basis. 
• Follow up with vendors on outstanding deliveries and expedite as necessary to ensure commissioning schedule is met.

Key Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in a similar position on a large oil and gas or industrial project.
• Functional knowledge of all areas of plant/facilities preservation, pre-commissioning, turnover, commissioning, operations and/or maintenance technology.
• Appropriate trades certificate is a must.
• Excellent understanding of site safety requirements.
