Here is an exciting opportunity to join a construction services company in Kitimat, BC as a Commissioning Rotating Equipment Coordinator! This role is responsible for managing staff and craft per company policy while driving zero incident safety culture. The Commissioning Rotating Equipment Coordinator will participate in the commissioning activity package (CAP) scoping sessions, assign CAP execution ownership within the team, and review completed package before being issued to the field..

Job Duties:
  • Provide weekly input for 3-week lookahead schedules
  • Resolve field conflict, ie: System completion
  • Ensure crews are completing the Systems based on schedule and priority
  • Participate in Daily System Meetings and provide input based on coordination efforts with other trade Superintendents, Material/Equipment Coordinators, Scaffolding Coordinators, and Insulation Coordinators/Field Engineers in all work areas to ensure free flow of information on SIMOPS
Qualifications:
  • Excellent understanding of LOTO, Permit to Work and site safety requirements
  • Functional knowledge of all areas of plant/facilities preservation, pre-commissioning, turnover, commissioning, operations and/or maintenance technology
  • Appropriate trades certificate is a must
  • 5+ years of proven leadership experience in pre-commissioning/commissioning of large process facilities preferred
