Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data.
- Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals, prepayments, and adjustments.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Monitor and manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities in collaboration with project managers and engineers.
- Conduct periodic audits of financial transactions and documents.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and relevant accounting standards.
- Assist with tax filings, regulatory reporting, and liaise with external auditors as needed.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost optimization.
- Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules.
- Provide financial support for engineering projects, including cost tracking and reporting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMA preferred).
- 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in an engineering or project-based environment.
