Position: CNC Machinist – Mill Machinist (Kitamura & Fadal)
Location: Charleston, South Carolina
Shift: 1st Shift | Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Compensation: $24.90–$44.50/hour + Shift Differential | Overtime Available

About the Role
We are seeking experienced CNC Mill Machinists with a strong background in precision machining and a proven ability to operate Kitamura and Fadal vertical machining centers. This role is ideal for detail-oriented professionals who take pride in producing high-quality components to exact specifications in a collaborative, safety-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC vertical milling machines (Kitamura & Fadal) to achieve tolerances within ±0.001”
Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T specifications
Perform tool changes, offsets, and machine adjustments as needed
Monitor machine performance and proactively correct deviations to maintain precision
Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, indicators)
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Collaborate with programming and quality assurance teams to optimize production

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience operating CNC milling machines (Kitamura and/or Fadal preferred)
Proficient in reading technical drawings and understanding G-code
Solid knowledge of machining practices, materials, and tooling
Experience with conversational controls and/or Fanuc systems is a plus
Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a commitment to quality
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
Must be a Sole U.S. Citizen and eligible to obtain and maintain a DOD security clearance.
