Job Summary:
The Electrical Superintendent is responsible for overseeing all electrical construction activities on assigned projects. This role ensures that electrical work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with applicable codes, specifications, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead, supervise, and coordinate electrical craft personnel, foremen, and subcontractors
Plan and direct daily electrical construction activities to meet project timelines
Ensure compliance with all safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
Review electrical drawings, specifications, and work packages for accuracy and execution
Monitor manpower, productivity, and material usage to optimize performance
Coordinate with project management, engineering, and other trades to resolve field issues
Conduct inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to codes and standards
Track progress and provide regular reports on schedule, risks, and performance
Support cost control efforts and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements
Maintain strong communication with clients, vendors, and project stakeholders


Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent (technical degree or certification preferred)
8–12+ years of electrical construction experience
3–5+ years in a supervisory or superintendent role
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, installation practices, and applicable codes (e.g., NEC)
Proven leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and schedules


Preferred Qualifications:

Experience on industrial, commercial, or large-scale infrastructure projects
Familiarity with project scheduling and construction management software
Relevant certifications (OSHA, NCCER, Journeyman/Master Electrician license)
