Position: HR Generalist
Location: Charleston, SC
Salary: $60,000-$80,000
Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, and reliable Human Resources Generalist to support all aspects of the employee lifecycle. This role is responsible for recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, training and development, compliance, and HR process improvement. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and committed to fostering a positive employee experience.
Key Responsibilities

Manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruiting, onboarding, training, employee engagement, and offboarding.

Partner with managers to fill open positions and support workforce planning.

Administer HR programs, including compensation, benefits, leave, performance management, and employee relations.

Coordinate new hire orientation, training initiatives, and employee recognition programs.

Maintain employee records and HR documentation.

Assist with payroll processing in partnership with Accounting.

Support investigations, disciplinary actions, and terminations as needed.

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.

Stay current on HR best practices, employment law, and industry trends.

Perform additional duties as assigned to support business objectives.
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree required; Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.

SHRM-CP certification preferred.

Manufacturing experience preferred.

SAP experience preferred.

Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and integrity.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
Physical Requirements

Ability to perform essential job functions in compliance with ADA, FMLA, and applicable regulations.

Regular attendance required.

Prolonged periods of sitting and computer work.

Occasional walking, standing, bending, kneeling, and reaching.

May be exposed to manufacturing environments, including fumes and hazardous materials.

Must be able to communicate effectively in person, electronically, and by telephone.
