Position Summary
The Janitorial/Compactor Associate position is a vital position to Kontane Logistics. As a full time Janitorial/Compactor Associate, you will focus on cleaning, compacting (cardboard and plastic), stacking pallets, and collecting recyclables. This position is an entry level position with career growth opportunities.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Keep bathrooms, break rooms, offices, and conference rooms clean.
- Take out trash in bathrooms, break rooms, offices, and conference rooms
- Restock bathrooms
- Use a pallet jack or other equipment to move product around
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area
- Stack pallets
- Compact cardboard and plastic
- Take inventory to reorder cleaning products and bathroom supplies
- Sweep and mop bathrooms, break rooms, offices, and conference rooms


Education and Experience
- High School Degree
- Knowledge of warehouse experience a plus
- Experience with automotive assembly a plus
- Forklift driver is a plus

Qualifications and Skills
- Ability to work shifts and/or overtime as required
- Ability to lift 10lbs. repetitively while bending and twisting
- Occasionally lift more than 30lbs
- Maintain a current driver’s license
- Criminal Background Check and Pre-Employment Drug Screen
- Must be 18 years or older
- Good attitude and willingness to learn
- Reliable transportation
