PED means pedestal inspection for the tools in the fab. Ideally, we want someone who is a weld inspector. They will verify welds, paint, location of drilled holes, dimensions and inspect every aspect of the pedestal. The scope of work we submitted to the customer is below. The ideal candidate would be decent at Geometry to accurately check the dimensions to the IFC drawing.
a. Provide 3rd party special inspection of pedestals being fabricated at RDF&P.
b. Visual Inspections to be performed in compliance with IFC drawings and standard specifications provided by Intel.
c. Inspections will include initial inspection only, any repairs not made at the time of initial inspection will be left for RDF&P to correct and ensure the corrections are accurate.
d. Per request of customer, AMQS will perform a secondary paint inspection
