The Supply Chain Manager is a strategic plan-driven manager responsible for the performance analysis and contract negotiation across National Supplier programs.
- Oversees Supplier Relationship Management for key suppliers within applicable categories, inclusive of KPI tracking, regular meetings, etc.
- Collaborates directly with external suppliers, internal project teams, and affiliated entities to provide a variety of solutions for enterprise requirements
- Manages a core team of individuals
- Empowers direct reports by developing & delegating specific tasks that align with enterprise and department goals
- Oversees pricing and terms negotiations across multiple suppliers in various categories.
- Supports strategic alignment with Next 150 construction and the operational indirect team
- Interfaces with project teams to recommend and support various procurement and sourcing models
- Acts as secondary liaison between Supply Chain and interdepartmental coordination (finance, estimating, purchasing, etc.)
- Exhibits emerging understanding of market and industry trends
- Oversees consistent evaluation and sourcing of suppliers and products
- Assists in preparation of executive leadership strategic planning presentations
- Participates in departmental strategic planning and process improvement
- Trains direct reports on processes, procedures and completion of daily tasks
- Manages workload and performance of direct reports, ensuring alignment with overall company standards
- Fosters a positive inclusive work environment to motivate and engage team members
- Aids in communicating company and department strategy to direct reports
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field
- 5-8 years of Supply Chain or related experience
- Or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of construction and procurement methodologies
- Ability to extract, scrub and format raw data exports
- Strong analytical skills
- Effective interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
- Ability to delegate tasks
- Experience managing direct reports
- Ability to work autonomously
- Ability to multitask with strong attention to detail
