Duration: Full time/Direct Hire
Compensation: $65,000 - $95,000 base, plus bonuses
Territory: Covering TX (excluding Houston and El Paso), OK, AR
SUMMARY
The Territory Business Manager is the primary liaison between the company and key customers in the field and ensures the companys market standing is secure and growth oriented. The Territory Business Managers are the front-line support that drive top-line sales growth for the company. Acting as Trusted Advisor to the customers, the Territory Business Manager provides the best mix of product and information resulting in a superior infection prevention environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develops an in-depth knowledge of core products via successful completion of required sales training and utilizes this knowledge to successfully sell product solutions to new and existing customers in the assigned territory.
- Creates and executes a territory sales plan that meets or exceeds established sales quotas and supports revenue and profit targets.
- Optimizes business development plan by maximizing time in the field and overall efficiency through development of leads.
- Meets regularly with manufacturer representatives in sales territory to understand their evolving business needs and position product solutions to meet surfaced needs.
- Continuously expands customer understanding and uses product solutions and capabilities.
- Builds long-term, productive, and mutually beneficial relationships with manufacturer representatives and their existing and new customers.
- Maintains consistent communication and timely follow-up with manufacturer representatives and prospects and is available and responsive to their customer’s real-time needs.
- Works effectively with internal support departments (Marketing, Customer Service, and Product Development) to promote sales for new and existing customers to maximize visibility in the marketplace.
- Attends conferences, trade shows, and other professional meetings to promote product solutions and brand.
- Submits timely and periodic activity (CRM) and expense reports.
- Participates and works within ISO 9001 quality standards guidelines in accordance with quality goals.
