We are looking for a commercially driven Procurement Expeditor that is critical in ensuring the timely delivery of goods and services by actively managing supplier performance, tracking orders, and resolving delays across the supply chain. This is a key role in maintaining supply continuity and supporting project delivery. This role is based in Johannesburg. Seize your chance and apply today!
Key Responsibilities:
- Track and expedite purchase orders to ensure on-time delivery.
- Liaise with suppliers to monitor order progress, ETAs, and resolve delays.
- Proactively follow up on outstanding orders and escalate risks where required.
- Coordinate closely with procurement, warehouse, and logistics teams.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date order statuses on ERP systems.
- Support inventory availability by minimizing supply delays.
- Assist in resolving delivery discrepancies and invoice-related queries.
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships.
- Generate reports on order status, delays, and supplier performance.
Qualifications & Skills Requirements:
- 2–5 years’ experience in an expediting, procurement, or supply chain role.
- Proven experience following up on suppliers and managing order deliveries.
- Exposure to purchase orders, RFQs, and procurement processes.
- Experience using ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Sage, Oracle, or similar).
- Strong Excel and reporting skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement ability.
- High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
