TRS is working with an Alberta-based multidisciplinary engineering company who are experts in modular equipment design, fabrication-ready engineering, and full lifecycle project execution. This is a full-time position and based in Edmonton, Alberta.
Key Details
- Deliver structural design and analysis for:
- Modular equipment
- Industrial facilities
- Pressure equipment modifications
- Related infrastructure
- Work collaboratively with multiple engineering disciplines to ensure integrated project execution
- Develop structural design concepts, calculations, and engineered solutions for modular systems and industrial equipment
- Produce structural components, layouts, and fabrication‑ready drawings as part of detailed engineering packages
- Ensure all structural designs comply with applicable codes, industry standards, and regulatory requirements
- Maintain alignment between structural, mechanical, civil, and process engineering requirements
- Experience or familiarity with vessels and process piping
- Opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer with experience in Structural Engineering
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or Mechanical with related experience
- Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation in Canada, or eligibility to obtain
- 4–10 years of structural engineering experience within industrial, modular, or energy‑sector environments. Open to more senior candidates
- Proficiency with structural analysis software (e.g., STAAD.Pro, RISA, SFRAME) and CAD tools
