We are urgently seeking an experienced Technical Sales Consultant to grow our client’s footprint in the logistics and transport sector. The role is located in the Paarl, Western Cape.

We are urgently seeking an experienced Technical Sales Consultant to grow our client’s footprint in the logistics and transport sector. The role is located in the Paarl, Western Cape.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead generation and prospecting.
- Cold-calling logistics companies and transport operators.
- Face‑to‑face client meetings and technical discussions.
- Selling oils, greases, and lubricant solutions.
- Building long‑term customer relationships.
- Closing deals and growing recurring sales, owning the target market.
- To work in the field, managing territory independently and driving revenue.
Qualifications & Skill Requirements:
- Proven sales experience in oils, lubricants, fuels, or related automotive / industrial products.
- Strong technical understanding of oil, grease, and lubricant quality, including:
- Diesel engines, Gearboxes, Hydraulics.
- Fleet and truck applications and maintenance.
- Background in transport, logistics, fleet, automotive, mining, or industrial environments.
- Comfortable with cold calling and hunting for new business.
- Is already selling oil, lubricants, or technical automotive products.
- Enjoys face‑to‑face selling and account growth.
- Understands engines and lubricant performance—not just sales talk.
- Confident, professional, ethical and target‑driven.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Preference for candidates living in the Western Cape.
