Our client is an onshore pipeline specialty welding company in north Houston that is looking to fill an Account Manager position for their Business Development initiatives to capture market growth in the southern United States.
The successful candidate will have a proven book of business for onshore pipeline contacts to help drive new and existing client relationships.
Responsibilities:
• Strong sales-oriented individual capable of developing business relationships and sales acquisition strategies
• Develop professional relationships with key targeted client personnel and secure business opportunities
• Identify market potentials and contribute to strategic approach
• Acquire competitive information
• Maintain an understanding of competition strengths and weaknesses
• Observe and communicate pricing changes in the industry to keep the company competitive
• Develop sales opportunity forecasts for the business on a weekly basis through information received from customer communications and market news
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree with a major in Engineering or Business from a four-year accredited college or university - experience in pipeline welding can potentially be considered as a substitute
