The Project Accounting Support role provides essential financial and administrative assistance to ensure accurate and timely project cost tracking, reporting, and compliance. This position works closely with project managers, site supervisors, and the accounting team to maintain financial integrity throughout the construction project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:

Cost Tracking & Reporting:
- Assist in monitoring project budgets, commitments, and expenditures.
- Prepare and update cost reports for project management review.
- Verify and reconcile vendor invoices against purchase orders and contracts.
Document Management:
Payroll & Timekeeping Support:
Vendor & Subcontractor Coordination:
Financial Analysis & Assistance:
Qualifications:
- Education: Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred (or equivalent experience).
- Experience: 1–3 years in accounting or administrative support, preferably in construction or project-based environments.
- Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., SAP, JD Edwards, or similar).
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, site-based environment.

- Accuracy and timeliness in financial reporting.
- Effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Problem-solving and adaptability to changing project needs.
